For Mouthwatering Monday this week I wanted to share my go to Cake-like butter cookie recipe and crusting buttercream frosting. These were so fun to make; the Kiddo loves to decorate the cookies and I love to see her creativity in action. The best part is that the cookies are delicious. I let her Continue reading →
Get your Glue Guns ready and pick up a few packs of plastic Easter eggs Because this door wreath is easy and fun. On the same trip to our local get what you want for a $ store where I got the supplies for Wednesdays Door/Wall Decor I also picked up a few things to make a Door Wreath for Easter. (Is anyone else having a hard time with Easter being so close to St. Patrick’s Day this year?) I did not want to spend a lot of money on a door decoration that would be up for 2 weeks so the $ place was a great idea. The beauty of this craft is Continue reading →

Spring is one of my favorite times of year because I can begin to go outside and plant things. My rose bushes are beginning to bud the wild daffodils are blooming and we have our bird houses prepped for new nests. I also enjoy bringing Spring inside by planting fresh herbs in pots on the Kitchen counter (I will eventually plant them outside) and flowers in a vase on the kitchen table. I’m lucky that the Kiddo likes this time of year too and she is happy to accept any room brightening decor I make for her. (I wonder how long that will last?) This time I decided to try a yarn letter for her door, and it would work great as a monogram for the front door.
