Peppermint Wishes Bark

Peppermint Wishes Bark

Peppermint Wishes Bark recipe from H&P Artistry

One of my Favorite flavors of the Holiday Season is Peppermint. Peppermint in Coffee, Cookies, Candy canes, it’s everywhere.

Check out the YouTube video below.

My favorite Peppermint treat is Peppermint Bark. You can make it so many ways with so many different combinations of ingredients. This is my recipe using Almond bark instead of chocolate chips. I like almond bark because of the smooth consistency and ease of melting. You can use your favorite chocolate if you want. If the Almond bark or Chocolate are not smooth when melting add 1 tsp of vegetable oil to smooth it out.

Crush your peppermints by using a food processor or Putting the candy canes in a gallon bag and crushing them with a rolling-pin. A food processor has a more powdery consistency and the rolling-pin has a chunkier texture.

Step 3

Melt White Chocolate (Almond bark) and add the peppermint extract to taste. (A little goes a long way)

Instructions
  1. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Chop up the Almond Bark. I use almond bark instead of chocolate chips because it has a lower melting point and creamer consistency. If the chocolate (almond bark) needs to thin out add a teaspoon of vegetable oil.
