One of my favorite Halloween memories is making Halloween finger cookies with my aunt Karen. Making them with the Kiddo when she was little. How she laughed adding chocolate chip warts to the fingers.  I decided to share my version of the cookie recipe with you. I hope you have as much fun as we do when making the cookies. Double Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies Recipe

My family wanted cookies, and when they want cookies I inevitably end up making cookies. The good thing is that I get to play around with my recipes and they have to eat what I make. These cookies should technically be named Triple Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies because of the added chocolate drizzle. Since you can make it with out the drizzle, I decided on Double Chocolate for the name. The recipe makes 50 cookies, so it is great for a bake sale or group function. Carrot Cake Mix Cookies

I had a craving for carrot cake this weekend but I did not want to make a cake. I decided to make Carrot Cake Mix Cookies for Mouthwatering Monday and share the recipe with you. Kids love to form the cookie batter into balls. For added fun pour 1/2 cup of powdered in a freezer bag and have the kids shake the cookie dough balls (2 or 3 at a time) in the sugar before placing on the parchment paper and baking. Italian Knot Cookie Recipe from H&P Artistry

Today’s Mouthwatering Monday recipe is an Italian Knot Cookie Recipe. I love these cookies because they are a mixture of cookie, biscuit, and breakfast roll. The Kiddo doesn’t like it as much because the dough is heavy on the egg and has an eggy flavor (Is eggy even a word? It is the word the Kiddo described the dough.) My great-grandmother was full Italian and made some of the most wonderful desserts. Her cooking is Continue reading

Today’s Mouthwatering Monday started out as a completely different Recipe. I was going to make basic flower shaped shortbread cookies. Then something, well sweet, happened. I started to think about my Aunt Cynthia. Why you might ask, because she is Continue reading
