I completed the Terrific Teachers Tea Bag Carrier Tutorial and I am quite happy with the results. I made two versions a small and large option to start and decided on the larger version for my teachers gifts. This is one of my most popular posts and people love to make the carriers their own. I wanted to share it now because what says fall like a warm cup of tea, apple cider or winter like hot cocoa. These pouches work for those drink pouches as well. You just fold the pouches over and slide them in the pockets.

Someone asked me why give gifts at the beginning of the year. My answer is that the teachers do not necessarily expect it. The Kiddo’s office staff do, because I do it every year now, but as a whole teachers do not expect anything. They know it’s not a start of year bribe because the Kiddo “is awesome”. No really, The Kiddo is a great kid, I thank my lucky stars for that, but public schools do not get much help and a lot of the time the teachers put in their own money for supplies, (Sometimes even go beyond for students that need more. I know a teacher that made sure a student had all supplies and a backpack one year by putting everything in the child’s locker with an anonymous note that said have a great year.)
