One of my Favorite flavors of the Holiday Season is Peppermint. Peppermint in Coffee, Cookies, Candy canes, it’s everywhere.

My favorite Peppermint treat is Peppermint Bark. You can make it so many ways with so many different combinations of ingredients. This is my recipe using Almond bark instead of chocolate chips. I like almond bark because of the smooth consistency and ease of melting. You can use your favorite chocolate if you want. If the Almond bark or Chocolate are not smooth when melting add 1 tsp of vegetable oil to smooth it out.
Happy Halloween! Have I said it enough, I love this Holiday, the costumes, the treats (The tricks not so much), and the decorations. Oh, how I miss the Kiddo in her cute little costumes. She was Pooh bear one Halloween and she was precious. It’s just not the same now that she is a teenager. At least we do still get to go to my Aunt’s Halloween Party.
